The visionary behind JS COUTURE by Gogo, Gogo Ibubeleye Tekena-Erekeosima, is a proud daughter of Rivers State whose design ethos is shaped by her Ibani heritage and the wider Niger Delta narrative.
For Gogo, fashion is not just an art form—it’s a vessel of memory, movement, and meaning. Her Port Harcourt atelier brings together indigenous storytelling, feminine power, and artistic flair. From layered prints to sculptural sleeves, her work draws inspiration from Nigerian folklore, rites of passage, and the spirited femininity of Riverine women.
